Professor Don Huber speaks in Melbourne, February 25th 2015

Prof. Don Huber is Professor Emeritus in Plant Pathology from Purdue University, Indiana, USA. He is an award-winning, world-renowned scientist. He opposes the use of Roundup weedkiller and genetically manipulated (GM) crops and foods, after seeing the negative impacts of farm chemicals on the control of soil plant pathogens. Dura Dara OAM will host the evening. Panellists include :

Prof. Marc Cohen: MBBS (Hons), PhD, RMIT University. Professor Cohen is a medical doctor currently studying children's exposure to chemicals.  

Fran Murrell: Mothers Are Demystifying Genetic Engineering (MADGE). Fran informs the community on the risks and hazards of GM foods and crops.

Cr Sam Gaylard: Councillor, City of Yarra, exploring urban non-chemical options for urban weed control.

Anthony Amis: Pesticides & Water Campaigner, Friends of the Earth.
